Heritage of India itinerary offer vision into the rich heritage and culture of India.
The journey starts from Mumbai. The train passes from medieval caves of Ajanta, beautiful forts and magnificent palaces of Rajasthan and the majestic Taj Mahal during the Heritage of India tour.
The focal point of the tour include cultural absorption during the local sightseeing tours. Memorable experience such as sundowner cocktails in the sand dunes, elephant joyrides and panting and some amazing shopping experience.
Check-in Venue & Timing - The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Mumbai / 1330 hrs
Departure Station & Timing - Mumbai - Chatrpati Shivaji Terminus / 1640 hrs
Arrival Station & Timing - Delhi - Safdarjung Station / 1500 hrs
Guest have to board Maharaja Express at least an hour before the train’s departure time at the venue that is assigned in Mumbai for pre-boarding facilities. All the final details related to departure timings and venue will be emailed or handed over to you along with travel document and voucher, 14 days before to the departure date.

Assemble at 10:30 hours at Hotel, for completing the registration and check in formalities to go aboard the Maharaja Express. You will get assisted transfer to the station to board your luxury train. Enjoy your welcome drink, board the train and settle in your cabins. Explore the train amenities.
Enjoy your Lunch and dinner in exclusive restaurant onboard. Overnight stay in the Maharaja train as it proceed towards Udaipur, the next destination in the circuit.
Enjoy your breakfast on-board as this Indian luxury train arrives in Udaipur also known as the city of lakes.
Later, get ready for sightseeing including the majestic City Palace complex and boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Indulge in a Royal Lunch that awaits for you at an exclusive venue.
The evening is now at leisure. Indulge in facilities in the train. Relish sumptuous dinner on-board the train.
Overnight stay in train as it heads to its next destination Jodhpur.
Early morning on the 3rd day, you will arrive in the sun city of Rajasthan - Jodhpur.
After a delicious breakfast you can pay a visit to Bishnoi Village or you can even rejuvenate yourself with a spa session at leading hotel in the city.
Lunch is served aboard Maharajas Express.
Post lunch, proceed with a tour of the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort. You can even take a walking tour of the Old Clock Tower Market.
End the day with a lavish dinner arranged at an exclusive venue.
Return to the train for overnight stay. The train will head to Bikaner next.
On the 4th day of the sojourn, you will arrive in Bikaner. Start the day with lip-smacking breakfast aboard.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and lunch enjoying the comforts of the train.
In the afternoon, disembark for a visit to majestic Junagarh Fort.
Later in the evening, enjoy a sand dune excursion for exclusive barbecue.
Post dinner, return to the train for overnight stay. Train proceeds to Jaipur.
Breakfast onboard
Start the day with lavish breakfast aboard. Later disembark to visit the Amber Fort of Jaipur.
Return to train for a sumptuous lunch at one of the fine restaurants.
In the evening, you will be taken to an exclusive venue where your dinner is arranged. Overnight stay aboard as train heads to its next destination Sawai Madhopur.
On the 6th day of the sojourn, you will arrive in Sawai Madhopur. Proceed for a game safari in Ranthambore National Park.
Post safari trip, enjoy lip-smacking breakfast in the train, as it rolls towards the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri. Have lunch before you leave for the expedition.
Upon arrival in the city, disembark the train and explore the length and breadth of the abandoned town. You can visit the local attractions housed here such as Buland Darwaza and Panch Mahal. Fatehpur Sikri is a celebrated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Return to the train for dinner and overnight stay. The train will head to Agra next.
Early morning on the last day of the sojourn, pay a visit to the grand structure Taj Mahala jewel of Mughal architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Later, you can take delight in a lavish breakfast which is arranged for you at an exclusive venue. While you treat yourself to a grand lunch aboard the Maharajas’ Express, the train will traverse back to Delhi.
The Heritage of India sojourn comes to an end.Complete the check-out formalities and bid goodbye.
