Balasinor is a small town, situated in the Kheda district of the West Indian state of Gujarat. It is also known as Vadasinor. This state was built by Babis of Junagadh on 28th September, 1758.

It is located in Raiyoli village.Fossil Park is developed by the Government Tourism, Raiyoli Dinosaur Fossil Excavation Site that contains bones, fossilizes eggs and other remains of the Dinasaur. 13 species of dinosaurs have also been found in the fossil park. It is the second largest site, where you can see eggs and fossils in their natural form. It will take you around half day to visit this Dinosaur site.
Ambaji temple is quite close to the Balasinor Fossil Park. It is an old temple in Balasinor, which is worth a visit.
Wanakbori Dam is located close to the Garden Palace, it is created on the Mahi river. It is popular tourist destination. The dam site during the monsoon season offers a panoramic view of the reservoir.

The Timba Tuva is a natural hot water sulphur springs, it is not only a popular place of interest for the tourists but is also believed to have medicinal properties. It is said that that waters of this natural spring can miraculously cure arthritis and rheumatism.
Timba Tuva site is also associated with an ancient folklore, it is believed that the Pandava brothers of Mahabharata, had spent some years here. This is the place where Bhima had married Hadimba, there is a wedding mandap, made out of stone and even the footprints of Bhima can be seen here.
CChampener is a small village which is home to 1000 year old well-preserved Jain and Hindu temples, It also has number of forts, palaces and mosques. Champaner was declared as a UNESCO world heritage site in year 2004. The village is around 50km away from Balasinor. It got popular by the Bollywood movie which was nominated in Oscars, Lagaan.
